John is an Associate at Bertram, Cox & Miller, and has been with the firm since 2014.
Originally from Campbellsville, John received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2008 and 2016, respectively. Prior to law school, John was selected for the 2009 – 2011 class of the Godolphin Flying Start – a management training program focused on the thoroughbred industry that is graciously sponsored by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai. During his two years with the Godolphin Flying Start, John lived and worked around the world – including New York, Ireland, England, France, Australia, New Zealand and Dubai. After the Godolphin Flying Start, John went on to work for Brereton C. Jones’ Airdrie Stud in Midway, Kentucky, as a Manager of Bloodstock Operations.
John’s work and legal experience allows him to effectively communicate and advise clients throughout every step of the litigation process.
John is involved in the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce along with the local American Cancer Society, and has several other small-business ventures. John’s interests include golf, thoroughbred racing and breeding, hunting and fishing, farming, and spending time with his family.
John and his wife, Jordan, have two sons, Beckett and Nolan.
